Mobile Monopoly was launched in the summer of 2010 amidst a great deal of hype and fanfare. I purported to tap in to the huge number of mobile phone users worldwide and promised; huge market, no competition, high conversion rates.

Very slick but homely feel; young kid, hit on something amazing, tested it for 6 months now releasing it on the world. You will make money.
It seemed very logical, it generated a huge amount of interest and felt genuinely like you would be getting in on the start of the wave – a bit like what it would have been like had you been developing an online business in the mid 90′s just when the internet was kicking off.
